Sports & Social officially opened at Two City Center, in Allentown, after a ribbon-cutting ceremony, on Thursday.
If you don’t know where this is, it’s next door to Starbucks and directly across the street from the PPL Center. It’s the site of the former Hamilton Kitchen & Bar, which closed late last year.
The 8,000-square-foot facility can host a variety of dinning and entertainment fun, from live music to watching sports and more.
Patrons will also have an opportunity to play a number of hands-on games like beer pong, foosball, skee-ball, shuffleboard, pop-a-shot and plenty of arcade options.
Sports & Social will also feature an outdoor patio, which will be dog-friendly. It will also showcase Sports & Social’s signature “Crush Bar,” offering a large selection of specialty crush drinks for those dining al fresco.
A number of made-from-scratch versions of gameday favorites like nachos and wings and plenty of curated cocktails and specialty drinks can be enjoyed.
The main dining area sports a 25-foot LED display as it’s centerpiece, allowing patrons to enjoy multiple games and events at once.
President of City Center Investment Corp. J.B. Reilly said, “Sports & Social is the first national dining and entertainment concept to come to downtown Allentown, and we’re thrilled to have them here.”
“Today’s grand opening of Sports & Social Allentown is another great milestone in our downtown’s reactivation,” said Mayor Matt Tuerk.
Sports & Social Allentown will be open daily 11 a.m. and close around 12 a.m., Sundays through Thursdays. On Fridays and Saturdays it will close around 2 a.m.
